Jose Sa
As Wolves continue to evolve under O’Neil’s philosophy the more he’ll be asked to play out from the back and that’s something he looked quite comfortable with last night. A point blank shot and two penalties were the difference, so I’m not sure he could do much about any of those. 6/10
Max Kilman
I have sympathy for Max as it appears he was in a no win situation with the Carlos Vinicius incident where if he goes down he gets criticized, yet if he stands up and the opponent doesn’t get sent off. It speaks volumes for where the game is now as players shouldn’t have to throw themselves around to get the correct decision, yet if you don’t then you run the risk of it costing you, like it did last night. 6.5/10
Santi Bueno
A reasonable league debut for the Uruguayan who likes to get close and defend aggressively. The £7.5m defender looked reasonably comfortable on the ball and decent in the air. He wasn’t bad but he’ll make way for Dawson on Saturday. 6/10
Toti
Without the ball and whilst defending the newly capped Portuguese international was fine but it was a night where he struggled to retain possession, particularly after Ait-Nouri’s early injury. 5/10
Nelson Semedo
A tough night for the former Barcelona man who had one of his poorer games, especially with his distribution. Fortunate to last the game with Hugo Bueno on the bench. However, he was very unfortunate to give a penalty away. 4.5/10
Matt Doherty (on for Ait-Nouri)
Losing AIt-Nouri was a huge loss and one that really changed the dynamic on that side of the pitch. Most would have expected Hugo Bueno to be the natural replacement, so it was a surprise when Doherty was introduced. The former Spurs man never really looked comfortable and the lack of pace down that flank was very apparent. 4.5/10
Joao Gomes
After two early unpunished Fulham reducers, the Brazilian was booked at the first opportunity meaning he’ll miss Saturdays game at Arsenal. One of Wolves better performers on the evening with his usual tenacity and some tidy distribution. 7/10
Mario Lemina
Like his midfield partner he’ll miss the trip to the Emirates and like with multiple decisions at Craven Cottage, you’d have to say his caution was questionable to say the least. Busy, aggressive and the usual ball recoveries, but a little loose in possession. 6/10
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde
Lost Robinson in the build up to Fulham’s opener but made up for it with a marvelous assist after returning the favour on the Fulham defender as he cut inside and out before delivering a perfect cross for Cunha’s to level. Probably didn’t get enough of the ball. 6.5/10
Hwang Hee-Chan
Like with all of the forward thinking players, it was a quiet night for the South Korean. Despite his tremendous work ethic, the deeper he comes back the more he worries me when he’s in possession. Did well to use his pace to win a penalty against the leggy Reem and I never had Hwang down as a penalty taker but he took it really well when the pressure was on. 6.5/10
Matheus Cunha
A quiet night for the former Atletico forward who wasn’t at his dynamic best and like Bellegarde didn’t get anywhere near enough of the ball in areas where he could hurt the opponents. However, the one chance he had he took very well as he firmly headed home after some fine wide play. 6.5/10
